Work Period + More trig identities.

Today we did some more trig identitieswhich helped me out a lot. Also we were given more time for accelerated math and our practice test which was nice.

Work Period

Yesterday we were given an opportunity to catch up on our assignments and accelerated math.

Double angle Identities

Today we did double angle identities in class. This is a lot of new stuff at once and it'll probably take me a while to get the hang of it.

Sum and Difference of Identities

Today we did some adding and subtracting of identities. This includes a few new formulas and finding exact values of /12's and so on. This stuff seems ok. Trig is awsome!

Trig Identities

Today we did some more trig identities as well as a way to check our solutions. This is hard stuff but thus far I haven't ran into any roadblocks.

Trig Identities

Today we're doing trig. identities. This involves taking the six trig. ratios and plugging them into equations. There are numerous (8) ways to solve these idetities. I find the easiest way is to try to structure the entire question into terms of Sine and Cosine and so far I am finding it easy.

Soccer Provincials

Over the weekend we competed in soccer provincials, hosted in Steinbach.

Today we had a day to prepare for tomorrow's test.

Homework Check

Today we had a homework check for Exercises 1-11.

Translations

Today we did some more on graphing trig. functions. This involves graphing absolute values, reciprocals, and inverse functions. We also did piece-wise functions. I'm o.k with this new material and will probably get better with a few more problems.

Soccer Zones

Yesterday we competed in our soccer zone that determined who moves on to Provincials. Here is the results:

Horizontal/Vertical Stretches and Compressions

Today we learned about horizontal and vertical compressions/stretches. This stuff makes sense to me.
