More Perms and Coms

Today we did circular perms and coms aswell as ordering of identical perms and coms. This stuff is pretty straightforward and I have very little difficulty with it

Perms and Coms (For Real)

Today we actually got into perms and cons. This is pretty easy stuff as long as you follow the principle that order in perms matters whereas order in cons doesn't.

Perms and Coms

Today we did some stuff on probability which includes finding values with certain restrictions. Also we got a lesson on Fundamental Counting Principle from Bobby Bear. We just have to remember to dress him. It was fun.

Logarithmic Word Problems

Today we did logarithmic word problems using formulas such as exponential growth with populations, continuous exponential growth with money, and radioactive decay This is pretty strait forward and mostly review from last year.

Natural logarithms

Today we did more on natural logarithms. We did expanding and solving for x. This is very easy seeing that natural logarithm laws are the same as normal logaritm laws. As far as the Pink Freud t-shirt..... it's about Pink Floyd, but i don't really get it.

Natural logarithms

We learned that ln is pronounced "el-en" and not "lawn".
Also we learned that the value is about 2.714.......... or so.
Natural logarithms are the same as exponents.
I also learned a very important thing about graphing absolute values; You have to move it before you bounce it.

Change of Base Theorum

We found a way to solve variables in exponents, "Yay"! This is done by using logs. It makes very good sense to me. I think today's class was pretty fun with clip art and all; Just find a warning sign maybe.

Logarithmic Laws

Today we did logarithmic laws. Also we had a fire drill which took a bit out of class. On logarithmic laws, the material is pretty straightforward actually. There is not too much that is confusing me.

Logarithmic Functions

Yesterday we started our lesson on logarithmic functions. To me, logarithmics are exponents, the inverse of exponents. This is making pretty good sense.

Work Period

Since it is early dismissal today, no new material is being taught. However, I missed yesterday so I need to learn exponential functions. I reviewed it and got the concept from my brother so it shouldn't take long to understand.
