Example of arc length
Find the arc length of a bicycle wheel given a radius of
24 inches and a central angle of 48 degrees.
arc length= central angle x radius
arc length= (48 degrees x pi/180 degrees) x 24 inches
arc length=(4pi/15) x 24 inches
arc length= 6.4 inches or 32pi/5
